Kasol Kheerganga Trek – A Delightful Journey in Parvati Valley

Kasol is the small hamlet in Kullu district which is the well-known district of Himachal Pradesh. It is settled in the sacred Parvati Valley which is the home of several species of Himalayan trees and animals. The valley is naturally enriched and full of surprises. The river also flows in this valley whose name is also the same in the valley that is Parvati River. It is believed that once upon a time Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati visited this place so on this basis this valley named Parvati Valley.

This destination is also suitable or budget travel lovers. It is also known as the mini Israel of India or Israel of Himalayas. This is the most popular tourist destination for Israeli tourists. There are various cafes and restaurants which serve delicious Israeli dishes. To reach the kasol, Bhuntar is the place where the route to Kasol started. The Bhuntar is a small place in Kullu District and gateway to the valley Parvati. There are various government as well as private buses from the Delhi and Chandigarh are there to reach the Bhuntar. From there you can hire a cab on sharing or privately or board on the bus which will drop you at the Kasol. The trekking will start from the Kasol.

Kheerganga is the place where you will be amazed by the views of green forest trails and beautiful mountains. It is mainly famous for its natural hot spring pool. To reach Kheerganga your trekking will start from Kasol then by passing through Manikaran, Barshaini you will reach the destination which is just like a paradise in the Himalayas. Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Kasol

After the overnight journey reach, Kasol. As you reach, check-in at the Hotel and rest for a while. Get ready to explore the Kasol and its nearby forest trails. Meet new people and your trip mates. After a whole day of exploration of Kasol, enjoy the evening with music fest and dinner. Take night rest at the hotel

Day 2 Kasol – Manikaran- Barshaini- Kheerganga

Start your day early with the sun. Get ready with all your trekking gears after breakfast and start trekking. After some time you will reach Manikaran which is the religious place for Sikhs and Hindus. There you will visit Manikaran Gurudwara, Temple of Lord Shiva and Sri Ramchandra Ji and there are many other temple complexes there. After visiting Manikaran trek towards Barshaini. Then from Barshaini route goes to Kheerganga. During the route, you will experience the amazing forest trail. As you reach there, check-in at your campsite and enjoy it. In the night star gazing with dinner will be the most amazing experience of your lifetime.

Day 3 Kheerganga- Kasol

In the morning next amazing thing is waiting for you that is a natural hot spring pool. It is the main attraction of Kheerganga trek. As you dip in the pool it will take you to the next level of relaxation. After enjoying this start descending towards Kasol. It time allows for exploring the Barshaini. As you reach Kasol, take some rest and board on the bus for your ongoing journey with amazing moments you have spent there in the past three days.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Kasol Kheerganga trek is April to June and September to early December. The weather remains pleasant during this time which is perfect for trekking.
